The Sudarshan Chakra is the discus of Lord Vishnu - the weapon that cuts through every obstacle, every illusion, every harm aimed at the devotee. The Sudarshan Homam is the Vedic fire ritual that invokes this energy. It is performed with the Sudarshan Mool Mantra, ahutis (offerings) of ghee, and a poornahuti at the end. Best performed when you feel under attack or unable to find a way out.
